The Padel Club Chester let agreed – another milestone in the brand’s continued national expansion.

Legat Owen, one of the North West’s leading firms of Chartered Surveyors, has successfully completed the letting of Minerva House, Chester, to The Padel Club, marking another milestone in the brand’s continued national expansion.

The 37,500 sq ft former industrial unit, located just 1.5 miles from Chester city centre, will be redeveloped into an impressive padel facility.  The venue will feature 10 competition courts, including a unique singles court.  All courts will be designed to meet top international standards, incorporating a minimum 2‑metre run-out.

The new facility will elevate Chester’s leisure and wellbeing offering and further diversify the established commercial community at Chester West Employment Park.

Kristopher Ball, Founder & CEO, The Padel Club commented:

“We are excited to bring The Padel Club to Chester and to transform Minerva House into a venue for the sport. This new facility reflects our ambition to make padel more accessible across the UK, providing a high-quality environment for players of all abilities while creating a vibrant social hub for the local community. Chester is a fantastic location for our next phase of growth, and we look forward to becoming part of the city’s expanding leisure landscape.”

Minerva House offers excellent access to the A55 North Wales Express, along with on-site parking, making it an ideal location for the new development.

Rupert Chadwick-Dunbar, Senior Chartered Surveyor at Legat Owen, added:

“We’re delighted to have secured The Padel Club as the new tenants of Minerva House. The property’s scale, configuration and strategic location made it a compelling option for their continued expansion. We look forward to seeing their plans come to life and to the positive impact this new facility will bring to the local area.”

The new venue is expected to attract players of all ages and abilities, providing opportunities for social sport, coaching and competitive play, while also creating a new hub for the local community.
