The Padel Club Announces 5 New Padel Courts in Tunbridge Wells & a flagship clubhouse with state of the art facilities for players to enjoy.
One of the UK’s fastest-growing sports providers, The Padel Club, has confirmed plans for a brand new venue at Knights Park, Tunbridge Wells alongside other major developments across the UK.
Tunbridge Wells is set to have its own Padel Courts courtesy of The Padel Club. The site, developed in partnership with Aviva Investors, will feature four canopy-covered courts and one outdoor court, alongside a clubhouse built to the premium specification of the company’s flagship Trafford City facility. Players can look forward to high-quality player amenities, social spaces, and a vibrant hub designed around community connection.
“We’ve always believed padel is more than just a sport – it’s about creating a space where people can meet, play, and belong,” said Kris Ball, CEO of The Padel Club. “Tunbridge Wells is a fantastic location with a rich local culture and access to country’s capital, we’re thrilled to bring our The Padel Club here. From day one, this will be more than courts – it will be a place for community, friendships, and great experiences.”
The new Tunbridge Wells club mirrors The Padel Club’s Trafford City flagship – the UK’s largest padel development with 11 courts, a purpose-built clubhouse, retail, and food & drink options. By bringing that same level of quality to Kent, The Padel Club is extending its mission to make padel accessible in the UK’s most active and community-minded towns.
“This is about creating a long-term home for padel in Tunbridge Wells,” added Ball. “We want to set the standard for the South East with facilities that not only match the Trafford model but also connect with the local character of the area.”
The project is now moving into the planning stage, with construction expected to begin following approvals.
