Zidane is the latest footballer to invest in padel

We recently discussed the atttraction of padel with celebrities, sportsmen and football players and this month former French international Zinedine Zidane has become the latest footballer to invest in padel.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has his Padel Zenter chain of padel clubs over in Sweden, Francesco Totti has invested in courts in Italy and now Zidane has also caught the bug for padel by adding three new courts to his Z5 Sports Centre and has created the Z5 Padel brand.

In an instagram post @zidane simply stated 'Ready for Padel' after launching the new courts for bookings.

When celebrities become addicted to padel through playing as we have discussed before, it is inevitable that they become interested the ability to drive profits from the game too. So with the means to invest in the game, it is no surprise that more celebrities are getting involved.

Padel is clearly booming globally and now growing fast here in the UK. Who will become the next big celebrity to invest in their own chain of padel clubs?
