The Padel Club launches with two Concept Courts.
Kristopher Ball, Founder & CEO at The Padel Club, first discovered Padel whilst working abroad and instantly became addicted to the sport. It was so quick to learn, easy to play and social, however there were no courts in the local area when he returned to the UK.
Kristopher realised that there was a great opportunity to bring the sport to the North West and founded The Padel Club with the knowledge and belief, that the sport would become popular once people got playing. We decided to open high quality Padel clubs, beginning with our concept courts, and do everything we could to facilitate getting players on court.
The Padel Club has built two outdoor concept courts in Wilmslow, launched on the 18th of July. We have been overwhelmed by the response. The Padel Club offers pay by game, Club sessions and free Padel Intros for those who have never experienced Padel. There have been hundreds of new players take up the sport quickly and its astounding to see how many people become regulars instantly. We have thoroughly enjoyed delivering the Padel introduction sessions and the people attending these sessions instantly love the game and become regulars at the club.
A real community has developed around The Padel Club Wilmslow and so many new players are connecting with each other in their Padel games. The Padel Club is only available to book via the Playtomic app, which is incredibly easy to use to book and pay for games, enter matches and find players, and book activities. The Padel Club Head Coach, Ben Goodeve, has a wealth of experience coaching Padel and is providing sessions to players. Ben, and Kris, are more than happy to step up to fill a player gap in a game!
Padel is a very social game and people love to play and compete with new players. Lots of game results are being published, along with player rankings, in the Playtomic app. We aim to ensure that players can find more players for games, leagues and tournaments, it’s great to see how easy it is to connect with others around the game. Especially, watching so many players on court, competing and improving their game with players they never met until a few weeks ago.
We are very excited that The Padel Club brand and experience has been so well received in Cheshire. We have very ambitious expansion plans and are looking to develop high quality and high service Padel communities across the UK. The Padel Club have a number of sites now secured and are excited to announce further development plans very soon.
