LuxSol invited Sarah Jayne Dunn & Jon Smith to play Padel.
LuxSol, providers of the Club's luxury pergolas, that elevate the Club's player and spectator experience, invited their friends Sarah Jayne Dunn and Jon Smith for a private introduction to the sport of Padel. Whilst every court was filled with players obviously having a brilliant time, Sarah and Jon had a conversation with BROOD – before playing Padel for the first time.
BROOD’s team, Sarah and Jon were surprised to see that The Padel Club was completely outdoors – courts [covered courts are coming soon] and social areas! However, we quickly noticed that it didn’t affect the capacity for pre- and post-match socialising, or players coming along to watch, if anything – LuxSol’s pergolas make it even more compelling to relax and enjoy their time in the Club.
Sarah Jayne Dunn and Jon Smith lead very active lifestyles, Sarah being an advocate for fitness and well-being and Jon being an expert personal trainer. With their children, Sarah and Jon are constantly looking to incorporate the outdoors and sports/activities into their Family life. They transformed their outside space over the summer, incorporating LuxSol’s outdoor living range and pergola into their garden. Sarah and Jon had heard about the sport of Padel, dominating the UK’s sport scene as the most on-trend and brand-new sport, as some of their friends are obsessed and playing at the Club.
It seemed the perfect opportunity for Sarah and Jon, to experience Padel, and catch up with BROOD – Sarah was the magazine’s first cover story in 2022 – under the LuxSol pergola, sipping coffee from the Club’s branded KeepCup.
Kris Ball, CEO, is not often seen on court, however providing Padel introductions to those who have never experienced playing the sport – Kris is in his element. The reaction to playing Padel is rarely anything but positive, players are excitable, and keen for more. Following Kris giving coaching and guidance on Padel tactics for matchplay, Kris played a game along with Nick Williams from Olympian Garden Buildings in opposition to Sarah and John. It was such a perfect Padel experience for everyone involved.
